re:cycle
One important step to help with the recycling process is to avoid excessive waste. Buy in bulk, but only what you need and use before expiration. When shopping, bring your own bags and reuse fruit/veggie bags. The less bags in use, the less waste. Try to avoid individually packaged foods, not only are they usually unhealthy, they are also unhealthy for the environment.
Quick Tips
Drink coffee? Spread the coffee ground waste into the garden (adds nutrients and reduces waste)
Moving? Dont throw usuable items away, simply donate them for others' use.
Do you have a creative mind? Try recycling using innovative methods.
Like being effective? Organize collectables into categories and take them to the recycling complex.
Buying? Buy smart. Research companies from which you purchase and make sure they are responsible for their production.

What is your Bottle Karma?
Did you know that bottles are 100 percent recyclable...as long as they are not mixed. Consider keeping your bottles separate from your single-stream items.
