Sofa Retirement Program

As many of you are aware, the Great Sofa Round-up event has been a highly successful project that provided free sofas to those in need as well as free disposal for sofas that were past their prime. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the rise in bedbug infestations and the potential to spread bedbugs has come to our attention. While this has not been an issue in the past our research and conversations with other communities and pest control agencies has given us pause. Serious pause!
On July 31, 2009 we will be offering a "Sofa Retirement Pick-Up Program." We will do free curbside pick-ups for sofas that have no life left and really do need to go to the dump. To participate in this one-day program stay tuned to our website for details. We will register the pick-ups ahead of time. Space will be limited.
